Summer 2005 – three years after Noah and Brooke came into our lives, we decide to start the journey for a third child.

Our journey led to the country of Guatemala, and in June 2006 we were matched with a baby boy (name tbd), born May 10th, 2006.
We were scheduled to travel to meet the baby the week before Halloween…but some unrest in the country caused us to postpone our trip until Thanksgiving, ugh.

We are thankful for our healthy and happy 5-yr olds and thankful for the chance to meet our new baby boy for three days. We look forward to holding and hugging the baby boy but do not look forward to leaving him in Guatemala after our visit until this process is over (hopefully less than two more months).
